Cannabis & Adaptogen Infused Edible Guide

Due to a strong customer response, we began experimenting in a wider variety of cannabinoids including THC-O, THCp, HHC, and recently included Delta-9 (the Delta associated with Marijuana) into the portfolio while removing THC-O due to DEA reclassification of the cannabinoid to schedule 1 in February. Originally, our decision extend into hemp derived psychoactive products was largely legally driven, but have since identified a clear constituency of consumers with a preference for cannabinoids such as Delta-8, HHC, THCp, and combinations thereof over the more commonly consumed Delta-9. Recently, selective breeding of THC-A rich hemp strains, hemp derived D9, and absence of state level bans have propelled marijuana’s most celebrated cannabinoid as the preferred hemp derived infusion available to customers nationwide.

Since our formation, DankeSuper maintained an eye towards the integration of adaptogenic and entheogenic ingredients into our portfolio of ingestible products. Our interest in mushrooms clearly insinuated in a 2021 High Times article, and further solidified by the release of our Cherry Cordyceps Gummy and Adaptogenic Cacao later that year. In the summer of 2022, we embarked upon a year plus long pop up experiment in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Our physical store served as an experiential tool, and clear barometer of the exponential growth of interest in entheogenic mushrooms. Recently, DankeSuper extended the entheogenic experience to online offering with the introduction of HillBilly Micro Dose Capsules, LemonTek Tea, and Gummies. This post will serve as a guide for our cannabis based psychoactive, non-psychoactive, and adaptogenic products.

Non-Psychoactive & Adaptogenic

Full Spectrum CBD Tinctures

Decreased Inflammation       Reduced Anxiety        Restful Sleep

A key point of clarification on this product is that ALL our CBD edible products contain super critically extracted full spectrum extract versus broad spectrum or isolate. It captures the whole plant profile including all the phytochemical compounds such as flavonoids, cannabinoids, and terpenes found in the aerial parts of the original hemp plant. Extract originates from PSC Group a distinguished provider in terms of cannabis genetics, understanding, and taste.

Note: DankeSuper will be discontinuing all full spectrum hemp tincture offerings upon liquidation of current stock. We plan to provide a referral to a PSC Group partner brand in the near future.

Adaptogen Mushroom Cacao

Before there were dozens of brands marketing Cacao & Mushroom coffee alternatives on instagram there was DankeSuper’s Adaptogen Mushroom Cacao. The formulation contains adaptogenic mushrooms including: Chaga, Cordyceps, Lion’s Mane, and Maitake. Along with Ashwaganda root, a mild dose of Full Spectrum CBD, plus prebiotic and probiotic compounds for digestive health. A crowd favorite that will be sure to sell out if we ever manage to get it SEO optimized.

Delta-8 THC (D8, Delta8):

Psychoactive | Elated Relaxation | Pain Management | Reduced Paranoia vs Delta 9

Delta-8 produces a relaxed, euphoric high that’s said to be similar to Delta-9 but generally considered milder in effect. As a result, many users report lower propensity towards paranoia, waking up refreshed as a sleep aid (versus hung over), and material pain relief without experiencing overwhelming psychoactive effects. Check out Annie Goodman’s “I Tried Delta-8 Gummies”for a full independent review.

Delta-8 THCp

THCp is a hemp derived cannabinoid that naturally exists in limited volumes in the cannabis plant. It made headlines for having 33x the binding capacity of Delta-9, and should not be considered a “synthetic” since it’s naturally occurring. The experience is highly visceral, typically resulting in reduced motor skills and melt in your couch type effect. Typically, THCp is combined with another cannabinoid such as Delta-8 or Delta-9, but could also be integrated on its own. DankeSuper’s current version includes 20 mg of Delta-8 with 4% THCp (i.e. 0.4 mg). A great gummy for exploring the nuances of cannabis effects.
